i don't believe it

A woman and her husband sit in a clinic room as her doctor explains that she has inoperable cancer. The husband gasps and whimpers "I don't believe it!" He is grieving.

A mother working two jobs sits down at her kitchen table and yawns as she weighs whether to sleep or clean.  Her daughter hands her an envelope detailing college acceptance and a scholarship.  The mother shrieks and shouts "I don't believe it!" She is rejoicing.

A man is cleaning out his recently deceased parents' basement as he struggles to settle their financial affairs.  He finds mold in a corner behind a shelf of old paint cans and growls "I don't believe it!" He is venting.

An orange man screams to the heavens that a black man can't be President because he wasn't born here.  The President produces a birth certificate and the orange man mutters "I don't believe it!" He is conniving.

A President-Elect wins an election that he swore was "rigged" when it looked like he would lose. The President-Elect is made aware of detailed information about foreign interference in the election and before even looking at that report declares "I don't believe it!" He is denying.
