An artist such as Chris Cornell isn't supposed to die. His voice is on the radio hourly in any city with an alternative music station. Everyone who was in Singles is eternally young and light-hearted. And the depths from which that voice came is to my ears unquenchable. Our time on this earth, as fucked up as it is right now, is transient.
