The Last Jedi is of course so new that there is much to ponder. Even months later, very few dwellers in the Star Wars universe have crystallized their feelings about and opinions of this most schizophrenic episode in the saga. The fate of Luke Skywalker is the most unsettling -- is he following Ben Kenobi's example, repeating Qui Gon Jinn's failure or submitting to the cruelty of the Force? And regardless of what he is doing, what is Skywalker's mindset as he becomes one with the Force?
