To all my loyal supporters who may be disappointed that I did not accept the position as Dean of Knox College, I say mourn not! This was a conscious decision on my part. While it was truly difficult to turn down an offer to return to my alma mater, the fact remains that I have other projects that I need to focus on right now. The decision really came down to one key question: if I don't blog (or "blah-g" as my friend Rose says) about 80s no-name baseball players, R.E.M. and books that came out a minimum of six years ago, who will? Who will?
I can't run a college and a blog (o"b"amfRs) simultaneously! My heart remains with West Lawn Park.
Someday Galesburg, I shall return to thee. And then the hunger of the hobo shall be sated. The joy shall return to the garden.
